Your work matters. Your job title is not your whole story.

Faith for ordinary working life

Work can bring meaning and pressure at the same time. Questions about integrity, ambition, uncertainty and rest deserve space beyond the working day.

Work with integrity

Colossians 3:23 directs attention to the quality and heart of our work. Honesty, fairness and care for people matter in small decisions as well as visible achievements.

Keep identity wider than employment

Paid work is only one part of a life. Study, caring, unemployment, retirement and volunteering do not reduce a person’s dignity or their place in Christian community.

Make decisions with perspective

Prayer, Scripture, reliable information and wise conversation can support career decisions. ANCC does not promise recruitment, business leads, promotions or a guaranteed outcome.

A SMALL STEP YOU CAN TAKE TODAY

Try this short reflection

  1. Name one work decision you are facing and separate the facts from the assumptions.
  2. Read Colossians 3:23 and consider one practical expression of integrity or service.
  3. Make space for reflection: Thursday church meets at 7pm, or you can ask for a pastoral conversation.

Talk it through

You can ask for a pastoral conversation or bring a question to a gathering. Share only what you choose; a general website message does not need your private story.

A simple way to begin

You do not need every answer before taking one step.
