Explore Christianity in Leeds: begin with Jesus

You do not need to call yourself a Christian, understand the Bible or have your doubts resolved before walking into church.

What is the Christian message?

Christians believe that God loves the world and that Jesus’ life, death and resurrection open the way to forgiveness and new life. Following Jesus involves trust, learning and a changed direction, not earning God’s love.

Read a small part for yourself

Start with Mark 1 or Luke 15. Notice what Jesus says and does, what surprises you and what questions remain. You do not have to understand the whole Bible before beginning.

Talk without pretending

Bring a question to ANCC, read our beliefs or join a gathering. We offer Christian teaching and conversation, with room to listen and think before making a decision.

Ask about Bible study in Leeds

Would you like to understand a Bible passage or explore Christian faith with someone? Contact ANCC to ask about the study or conversation options currently available. Tell us what you would like to understand. Arrangements, format and availability need to be agreed before you decide whether to take part.

You can begin today with our beginner Bible guide and a seven-day Gospel reading plan. Reading these resources does not book you onto a course or subscribe you to messages.
