A Christian starting point for money questions

Spending, saving, debt and family responsibilities can bring difficult choices. You can ask honest questions without being promised wealth or pressured to give.

Understand stewardship

Stewardship means caring responsibly for what is entrusted to us. It includes everyday priorities and responsibility to others, rather than treating wealth as proof of faith.

Look carefully at commitments

Luke 14:28 uses the picture of counting the cost before building. As a reflection on wise planning, it encourages honesty about limits; it is not a personalised financial recommendation.

Seek appropriate advice

Pastoral conversation can offer prayer and perspective. If debt or essential bills are a concern, a qualified free debt adviser can help you understand your options.

A SMALL STEP YOU CAN TAKE TODAY

Try this short reflection

  1. Write down the money question you most need help with, without sharing account details on this website.
  2. Read Matthew 6:19–24 and consider what your priorities reveal about what you value.
  3. If you need debt advice, use the MoneyHelper link below to find a suitable adviser.

Talk it through

You can ask for a pastoral conversation or bring a question to a gathering. Share only what you choose; a general website message does not need your private story.

For personal debt decisions, use a qualified adviser. Find free debt advice through MoneyHelper

Questions you may be asking

Does ANCC provide financial or investment advice?

No. This page offers Christian education and pastoral encouragement, not regulated financial advice.

Will I be asked to give money to receive help?

First-time guests are not expected to give. Prayer and a pastoral conversation are not a promise of financial assistance.

Where can I find free debt advice?
