Do you have an idea for helping people connect, pray or learn together? Start by talking with ANCC about the purpose of the group and the preparation involved.
Describe your idea
Tell us who the group might serve, what you hope it would do and your general availability. A short introduction is enough for an initial conversation.
Plan with the church
Before a group is advertised as an ANCC activity, its leadership, safeguarding, venue, accessibility and practical arrangements need to be considered. The team can explain the process and whether the idea fits a current need.
Keep personal details private
Do not publish a home address or send participants' details through an initial enquiry. Venue and contact information can be discussed through the appropriate later process.
Prefer to join a group
You do not have to lead something to find community. Ask about current opportunities to connect.
