People can face hardship for many reasons. A Christian response begins with recognising a person's dignity, listening to what they need and offering appropriate help without judgment.

Avoid assuming that a short account explains someone's circumstances. Ask what kind of help is useful, respect their choices and protect their privacy.
If you want to donate items, money or time through ANCC, contact the church about current needs and arrangements first. An unrequested gift or an uncoordinated activity may not meet the need.
Read James 2:14–17 and Luke 10:25–37. Consider how faith can be expressed through practical care and how help can respect the person receiving it.
You can ask ANCC for a pastoral conversation. The church cannot promise financial assistance, food, housing or another specific provision through this page. Specialist agencies may be needed.
Ask which opportunities are active and agree a contribution you can make reliably.
