Rededicating Your Life & Coming Back to God
Luke 15:19-24
I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants. 20And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. 21And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ 22But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. 23And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate.
John 6:37
All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
Isaiah 53:62
All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Isaiah 44:22
I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud and your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.
Prayer for Re-dedication
Say this prayer out loud from your heart: Heavenly Father, I know that you have never stopped loving me and have always wanted the best for me. I have turned my back on You, but I believe You are bigger than my faults and Your arms are open. Today, I surrender my heart to you, again. Begin a new work in me. Transform me into the person that You created me to be, and I will be forever grateful. AMEN!
