YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

What happens at a Sunday church service?

At ANCC, a Sunday gathering includes Christian worship, prayer and teaching from the Bible. You can attend as a visitor, listen and become familiar with the church without knowing every song or practice.

Before you arrive

Use Plan Your Visit to check the current venue and gathering information. We meet at First Floor, Albion House, 24 Roundhay Road, Leeds LS7 1BT. Ask about access before travelling if the first-floor location may affect your visit.

During the gathering

You may hear songs, prayers and a Bible message. You can follow along at your own pace. If you do not know whether to stand, sing or take part in something, it is fine to observe or ask a welcoming person.

If you bring children

Read ANCC Kids and ask about the current age groups, supervision and arrangements. Children are welcome with their families. Tell us about a practical need before your visit where possible.

Afterwards

You can ask a question or introduce yourself if you would like to. A first visit does not create a membership commitment. You can return, explore the beliefs and take time to decide how you want to connect.

Questions people ask

What should I wear?

Wear clothes you feel comfortable in. A visitor does not need a special church outfit.

Can I attend if I am exploring another religion?

You can visit with questions and listen to Christian teaching without claiming beliefs you do not hold.

Do I need to send an enquiry first?

A visit enquiry is optional. It is useful if you want an answer about access, children or another practical detail before coming.
