Sermon – God’s Unconditional Love and Love of Jesus Christ

John 3:16 (chapter 3, verse 16 of the Gospel of John of the New Testament) “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)”. This Sermon on love provides us true meaning of God’s love and thereby how this can impact in our lives. This quote is one of the most popular and frequently used from the Bible. It is also related with “Gospel in a nutshell”, A group of sermons together can also very well work to make a class series. However, at our Church in Moortown we have launched a New Sermon Series, this will be a four weeks’ sermon series from September month called “Love Wins Always”.

Actual nature of God is to Love, whereas the God’s love is not something which is prevailing in our current culture with full of ego, convenience, selfishness and expectation of giving and taking but it is the essence of what he is. God’s love is unconditional, will never hurt you and does not have any personal profit. Christ guide us the path to love one another, to understand love of Jesus Christ we must go to deep to learn the character of Jesus Christ. we must know the values, characteristics and attitude of Jesus which we want to see in us and thereby gradually we can develop great relationship with each other. Nothing-absolutely nothing-can separate us from God’s love (Romans 8:35-39)!

God’s Love is unconditional and it does not mean that god loves over every action and thoughts we do and think, but his love for all of us is so deep that he do love sinner, corrupt, despicable and even evil person. His purpose is behind all this is to develop a higher feeling, taste and love in their life. One of the statement of Mother Teresa “Intense love can’t be calculated by any means, it knows only to give.

If you are searching for someone who loves you by heart, someone who do anything and everything for you, someone who cares about you every moment of your life, who will never left you alone or move back then don’t get disappointed, there are two identities who will prove this true. First one is God and Second one is Jesus Christ.

Let’s start with God, we all know that God loves us because he has created us from zero and where ever we rare today is by the grace of God only. God gave us everything we need and good for us that is either materialistic or non-materialistic. God will never left alone under any circumstance even though we love him or not. Second identity is Jesus who loves us because Jesus had sacrificed his life for all of us.

Hence, realize that you are being loved by god and Jesus every single moment you live your life and they will love you for whatever you are without any discrimination. Now it’s a time to ask yourself that do you love an God too?
