Know God

"...I WILL BRING YOU OUT..."

HOW WILL YOU KNOW GOD - WEEKEND SERVICES

Knowing God begins with making a move towards Him. You believe that God is who He says He is and are willing to begin a life time of following Him and His ways.

Jesus said when praying to God, this is salvation, that they know you. That word “know” doesn’t mean understanding. It means a relationship. Not that you know of God, but that you know Him.

Our Weekend Worship Services are designed to make Knowing God possible.

This is where you can take your first spiritual steps. You can be introduced to God. You can give him your life. Take your next step of being getting baptized. We are a church that wants you to Know God each time you step in their doors.

Once you know God, he gives you the power to settle some of the junk that’s in your heart. You can get saved and still have junk in your heart. You can be going to heaven and still have addictions and habits and wounds and hurts that are just ruining your life. It’s the second step in our journey.

Talk With Someone.  Moving towards God and having a relationship with Him is an important move and at some point it is vital that you talk with someone about how to have a relationship with Christ and what exactly that means.  We invite you to call the church office and talk with Senior Pastor Edgar Chibaka or the pastoral team or members of our staff at 0113 318 7734  or email info@allnationscc.org.

Attend Sunday Services Regularly.  Coming together with others to worship God through songs and being taught from God’s word is another essential movement on your part in knowing God.

Continue to Move.  The absence of movement in your relationship with God is like a body of water, without movement it will become stagnant. To continue growing in your relationship with God continue to move through Knowing God, Finding Freedom, Discovering Your Purpose, and Making a Difference.

COMMITTING YOUR LIFE

Like with any relationship, knowing God takes a commitment. Here are three key ways to express your commitment publicly and privately.

Commit to being baptized. Baptism is a public expression to the internal life change and commitment an individual has made with Jesus Christ. We believe in water immersion as it symbolically represents the life before Christ and then the new life we have in Christ. For more about being baptized please call us at 0113 318 7734 or email at info@allnationscc.org.

Commit to reading the Bible. We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and His primary source of communication to us. If we want to grow in our relationship with Christ then we must read, study and meditate on God’s word on a regular basis. Get started today by downloading the YouVersion Bible App.

Commit to praying. We believe that we need to pray often and ideally our prayers are an unceasing conversation with God throughout the day. Begin right now with asking God to show you how to pray.

If you want to Know God personally, we offer a four principles as a guide.

“I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment. I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.”
