There’s Strength in Numbers

We all need someone to do life together with – whether it’s grabbing a sandwich, sharing a laugh, or building something. Fellowship is so much more than companionship, though. Fellowship is a place of community where you can pray together, build something meaningful together and even change the world together. A proverb says, “we can go faster alone, but we can go farther together.” Through unity and fellowship, you can discover strength, increased knowledge and understanding, and movement beyond what you can do alone.

Fellowship is an Exchange

Fellowship gives us strength for difficult times and allows us to share joy and love with others. Let’s look at how we prepare a meal – when we add more ingredients, the possibilities multiply. If you start with eggs, you can have boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, or fried eggs – but you must have eggs. However, when you add flour, sugar, and milk – you can have cake, cookies, pancakes, or crepes. There are more possibilities as you bring more ingredients into the mix. When you bring your gifts, talents, service, and energy into a group of people, the collective is strengthened, and everyone within the group can benefit.

Fellowship Gives Us a Sense of Purpose

Fellowship allows us to experience connection with others and is seen for all of our skills, talents, and the things that make us who we are. When you are at home, operating entirely in your gifts and potential, you certainly must feel a sense of satisfaction. However, when others appreciate you and you see your children, family, friends, and community blessed by your service - it gives you that much more joy and satisfaction, knowing that you can contribute to the whole. If you are looking to understand more about what you can experience through fellowship or if you’d like to get connected to a wonderful place of fellowship, we hope you’ll click to get connected.
