In this social media age, many people post their highlights. They take 45 photos, to publish that one good photo where the light hits their face in just the right way. They don’t post the blinking photos or the ones where the children made a funny face, or the photo with the shadows. When you see someone else’s life, it may seem like things are better for them, however there could be someone else looking at your life in the exact same way. Whenever it seems like life is unfair, chances are you have a list of things you can be grateful for, that perhaps someone else wishes they could have. Is it good health? Is it a strong marriage? Is it a good job? Is it peace of mind? Is it children? Is it a solid meal each day? There is something powerful about applying gratitude to your life and acknowledging the many blessings that you have. As you focus on the good in your life, you will begin to experience more joy and fulfillment each day.
