FAITH, COMMUNITY AND EVERYDAY LIFE
Christians believe that God calls people into relationship with him and a life shaped by love. That does not mean every career, relationship or setback comes with a hidden instruction that someone else can confidently decode for you.
Jesus teaches love for God and neighbour. Ephesians 2:10 connects Christian life with good works. These give a direction for living even when a particular decision remains uncertain.
Consider your responsibilities, the people affected, the options available and the information you need. Pray and seek wise advice. Do not give up careful thinking because someone describes a preferred choice as God’s plan.
Your skills, interests and experience can help you identify useful contributions. A sense of purpose does not guarantee wealth, an ideal job or freedom from hardship. Ordinary care and faithful responsibilities can be meaningful too.
Disappointment can make the future feel less clear. You can ask for a pastoral conversation, while also seeking relevant practical or professional advice. The next responsible step may be small rather than dramatic.
Christian purpose is broader than a single job title. Work, relationships, service and care can all be places to practise faith.
Compare it with Scripture, consider its consequences and seek accountable advice. Pressure or secrecy is not a sound basis for a major decision.
